The idea was based on rebreathing life and character into the old store on the first floor of a vast and majestic, fifteenth-century palace with large caryatids, overlooking the sea on the present day Via V. Emanuele street – once the monumental doorway to Sciacca –using various shades of Millennial Pink.
Opaque rose gold varnish for the drawers and display cases, velvety pink for the footstools and counter, teal green for the curtains and sofa, rose gold metal for the mirrors and sliding panels infuse the space with a warm and elegant touch of glamour.
A large block covered in stone-effect ceramic tiles acts as the central check-out desk, imposing itself sinuously and subtly between the display cases and shelves of the warm and inviting hall.
A large light fitting with a rose gold finish adds a precious finishing touch, while the pink resin-look surfaces provide a pure, clean aesthetic. Meanwhile the double height ceiling, reveals the original fifteenth-century vaults and columns discovered during the demolition works.
